Das Apple iPad 1 und iPad 2 dominieren den Tablet Markt. Doch was dem iPad definitiv noch fehlt ist ein zum iPhone 4 vergleichbares Display bzw. eine entsprechende Auflösung. Doch dies soll noch diesen Herbst nachgeholt werden. Das Apple iPad 3 soll übrigens dann auch Apple iPad HD heißen.
Natürlich alles wieder nur Gerüchte, die sich auf „sichere Quellen“ berufen – diesmal von Thisismynext:
Our sources are saying that not only will there be a newly designed iPhone coming in the fall, but there is going to be a new entry into the iPad family as well. As hard as it might be to believe, the new tablet is said to sport a double resolution screen (2048 x 1536), and will be dubbed the “iPad HD.” The idea behind the product is apparently that it will be a “pro” device aimed at a higher end market — folks who work in video and photo production possibly — and will be introduced alongside something like an iPad version of Final Cut or Aperture. This product is specifically said to not be the iPad 3, rather a complementary piece of the iPad 2 line. Think MacBook and MacBook Pro.
Das Apple iPad HD stellt also NICHT den Nachfolger des Apple iPad 2 dar, sondern will ein eigenständiges Produkt sein. Hierzu wird der Unterschied Macbook und Macbook Pro herangezogen. Zielgruppe für das Apple iPad HD sei also auch weniger der „Consumer“ Markt sondern eher die „Oberklasse“.
Aktuell sind viele Gerüchte im Umlauf, die verschiedene Variationen für unterschiedliche Käuferkreise eines Produktes ankündigen. So könnten ja im Herbst zwei iPhones veröffentlicht werden. Ein günstiges iPhone 4S für den kleinen Mann / Frau – das technisches Highlight iPhone 5 für den dickeren Geldbeutel.
Wieviel an der Spekulation dran ist werden wir wohl erst im Herbst wissen. Doch ein iPad 3 oder iPad HD mit besserer Auflösung würden wir dennoch begrüßen!
