Facebook Home nennt sich der Facebook Lockscreen, der aktuell auf Android-Geräten einen Hype erfährt. Eines ist klar: Facebook Home will die zentrale Schnittstelle aus Social Network, Chat, Telefonie und Smartphone werden. Auf dem Lockscreen werden die Neuigkeiten und Statusnachrichten Eurer Freunde erscheinen und auch der Facebook Chat bzw. die Messenger Funktion steht im Fokus. Man bedenke: Während Facebook Home auf (einigen) Androiden problemlos funktioniert soll angeblich auch Facebook Home für iOS aufs Apple iPhone kommen. Wäre da nicht ein Problem: Apple wird kaum einen Facebook Home Lockscreen akzeptieren – zumal Facebook bereits entsprechende Werbeeinblendungen planen soll.
Laut Bloomberg soll Facebook bereits mit Apple und Microsoft in Kontakt stehen um Windows Phones und auch das Apple iPhone mit Facebook Home auszustatten. Mark Zuckerberg würde sich über die wohl beste Werbefläche – den iPhone Lockscreen – besonders freuen:

Laut interner Facebook-Quellen von TNW soll Facebook aber weder mit Microsoft noch Apple in Diskussion um die Integration von Facebook Home stehen:
According to a source inside Facebook familiar with the discussions, the social networking company is not in talks with Apple or Microsoft, contrary to what Bloomberg has reported earlier. We’ve been told that while the company has good relationships with both Apple and Microsoft, right now no discussions have taken place to bring Home to those platforms.
