News zum Thema iPhone Unlock unter iOS 6. Während ih8sn0w das Custom Firmware Tool Sn0wbreeze wohl bereits an iOS 6 angepasst hat siehts beim Thema iOS 6 Unlock per Ultrasn0w aktuell ein wenig düster aus. Bislang ist der Software Unlock von iPhone 4 und iPhone 3GS via Ultrasn0w unter iOS 6 von offizieller Seite nicht möglich. Bevor sich hier jemand zu früh freut – neue Baseband Unlocks stehen aktuell auch nicht auf dem Programm.
Vermehrt kommen Fragen nach einem iPhone Unlock unter iOS 6 auf. Während der iPhone 4S und iPhone 5 Unlock, also die Entfernung des Netlocks oder Sim-Locks beim iPhone 5 und iPhone 4S, aktuell per Software unter KEINEM Baseband möglich ist, warten einige iPhone 4 und iPhone 3GS Besitzer auf den Unlock unter iOS 6.
iOS 6 iPhone Unlock – die Fakten:
- iPhone 3GS Unlock NUR für die Basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.13.01, 05.12.01 und 06.15.00 mit erwartetem Ultrasn0w Update für iOS 6
- iPhone 4 Unlock NUR für das Baseband 01.59.00 mit Ultrasn0w iOS 6 Update
- iPhone 4S – KEIN UNLOCK MÖGLICH UNTER iOS 6! Auch die Gevey SIM funktioniert für den iPhone 4S Unlock NICHT unter iOS 6!
- iPhone 5 – KEIN UNLOCK MÖGLICH UNTER iOS 6!
iPhone 5 Käufer bei der Telekom haben also KEINE Möglichkeit, das neue iPhone für andere Simkarten freizuschalten.
Nutzer von iPhone 4 und iPhone 3GS, die auf einen Unlock angewiesen sind, dürfen (wie wir permanent erwähnen) auf keinen Fall auf iOS 6 updaten. Beim Update wird das iPhone Baseband auf die neueste Version gebracht, diese kann NICHT per Ultrasn0w entsperrt werden.
Sn0wbreeze für iOS 6
Eine selbstgebaute Custom Firmware ohne Baseband Update (für Unlocker!) erstellt man unter Windows mit dem Jailbreak Tool Sn0wbreeze. Der Entwickler ih8sn0w hat per Twitter bekanntgegeben, dass Sn0wbreeze für iOS 6 praktisch fertig ist. Allerdings würde ein Release von Sn0wbreeze für iOS 6 aktuell nichts bringen, da weder Ultrasn0w noch wichtige Tweaks wie Winterboard unter iOS 6 nicht vollständig funktionieren.
- ultrasn0w isn’t even updated officially for 6.0 yet, So sit tight.
- sn0wbreeze is already ready to go, But its not worth pushing the update when nothing is updated for it.
- Cydia is all set to go. ultrasn0w isn’t update, I’m pretty sure WinterBoard is broken still. Its just not worth it atm. (Quelle)
Wird wohl noch ein wenig dauern, bis Sn0wbreeze für iOS 6 veröffentlicht und zum Download bereitgestellt wird. Ebenfalls bestätigt ih8sn0w, dass der Software Unlock mit Ultrasn0w noch nicht iOS 6 kompatibel ist.
