Morgen jährt sich ein trauriges Ereignis: Steve Jobs ist vor genau zwei Jahren am von uns gegangen – ein Vordenker, ein Visionär, ein Innovator! Zum zweiten Todestag Steve Jobs, der Person, die Apple erst zu dem gemacht hat, was es heute ist, schreibt Tim Cook einen Brief an die Apple Belegschaft. So schreibt Tim Cook an das Apple Team zum Todestag seines Freundes – kein anderer hätte Apple zu dem machen können, was es heute ist.

Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of Steve’s death. I hope everyone will reflect on what he meant to all of us and to the world. Steve was an amazing human being and left the world a better place.I think of him often and find enormous strength in memories of his friendship, vision and leadership. He left behind a company that only he could have built and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. We will continue to honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to the work he loved so much. There is no higher tribute to his memory. I know that he would be proud of all of you.

Vor genau einem Jahr schaltete Apple am ersten Todestag von Steve Jobs folgendes Video. Steve war zweifelsfrei ein bemerkenswerter Mensch und so erfolgreich neue Apple Produkte auch sein mögen – bei uns wird immer das Gefühl bleiben, dass Steve eine ganz besondere Sicht der Dinge hatte. Wir vermissen diesen großartigen Mann!
