Apple iPhone 7 Plus: Mit 3 GB RAM geplant

Während das Samsung Galaxy Note 7 erst gestern vorgestellt wurde, steht uns die Vorstellung des Apple iPhone 7 Plus als neues Phablet noch ins Haus. Nach neuen Informationen von „Digitimes“, die damit die Spekulationen des Analysten Ming-Chi Kuo unterstützen, wird das iPhone 7 Plus gleich über 3 GB Arbeitsspeicher verfügen.

Bei „Digitimes“ klingt das Ganze so:

Increasing built-in memory capacity at next-generation smartphones, including new iPhone devices, will further ramp up demand for memory products in the third quarter, said sources, noting that the mobile DRAM capacity of the next-generation iPhone is expected to increase to 3GB from 2GB previously.

Vermutlich nur 2 GB RAM für iPhone 7

Beim aktuellen iPhone 6s Plus liegt der Arbeitsspeicher bei nur 2 GB, auch beim iPhone 6s ist dies der Fall. Dass auch das 4,7 Zoll große iPhone 7 über 3 GB RAM verfügen wird, ist hingegen unwahrscheinlich – aller Voraussicht nach wird sich die Erhöhung des RAM ausschließlich auf das iPhone 7 Plus beziehen.
