Das Apple iPhone 7 hat, wenn es nach Auffassung des bekannten Analysten Ming-Chi Kuo geht, den Höhepunkt seiner Nachfrage bereits überschritten. Und zwar mit dem Oktober, denn im November und Dezember dieses Jahres soll die Nachfrage um 5 bis 15 Prozent sinken.
Apple iPhone 7: Nachfrage nimmt ab
Laut Ming-Chi Kuo sieht es um die iPhone-7-Nachfrage wie folgt aus, speziell die Gründe für den Rückgang werden erläutert (via Macrumors):
As the 4.7-inch iPhone 7, which accounts for a higher share of iPhone shipments, is in stock in the main global markets, we believe overall iPhone shipments have peaked. We think iPhone shipment forecasts will be revised down due to: (1) lower-than-expected demand due to a lack of spec surprises in the 4.7-inch iPhone 7; and (2) shorter times for delivering online orders of 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, which implies slowing demand. We note that the out-of-stock phenomenon also results from fixed capacity, and is not only due to robust demand.
Weihnachtsquartal dennoch mit Erfolg zu erwarten
Trotz des kolportierten Rückganges der Nachfrage ist damit zu rechnen, dass Apple mit iPhone 7 und iPhone 7 Plus auch im Weihnachtsquartal für Erfolge sorgen kann. Wie hoch diese ausfallen werden, lässt sich im Moment aber noch nicht sagen.
