Nun hat Apple ein neues Support-Dokument veröffentlicht, das sich mit der Thematik beschäftigt und noch einmal die Gründe aufzeigt. Und wie bisher sagt Apple auch weiterhin, dass ein Teil der Produktion für kleinere Abweichungen sorgen könne (via Apple):
The new straight edges and the presence of the antenna splits may make subtle deviations in flatness more visible only from certain viewing angles that are imperceptible during normal use. These small variances do not affect the strength of the enclosure or the function of the product and will not change over time through normal use.
Auch wenn das Ganze für Apple nicht als großes Problem erscheint, ist davon auszugehen, dass das kalifornische Unternehmen beim Apple iPad Pro 2019 versuchen wird, solche Probleme komplett zu vermeiden.
