Das Weihnachtsquartal 2016 soll für Apple einen neuen Umsatzrekord eingebracht haben, ab Anfang 2017 scheint es dagegen weniger gut weiter zu gehen. Denn nach neuen Informationen von Nikkei soll die Produktion des Apple iPhone 7 in Q1 2017 um 10 Prozent reduziert werden.

Als Grund werden dabei Verkaufszahlen angegeben, die anscheinend nicht auf einem solchen Niveau sind, dass sich eine hohe Produktion lohnen würde. Bei Nikkei klingt das Ganze wie folgt:
Apple will trim production of its iPhone family around 10% on the year in the first quarter of 2017, according to calculations by The Nikkei based on data from suppliers.
…the phones still have sold more sluggishly than expected. Information on production of the latest models and global sales suggests cuts in both the 7 and 7 Plus lines in the coming quarter.
Verkaufszahlen nicht auf dem gewünschten Niveau
Auf welchem Niveau die Verkaufszahlen von iPhone 7 und iPhone 7 Plus in Q4 2016 liegen, wird interessant zu sehen sein. Bis zum Verkaufsstart des Apple iPhone 8 scheint Apple aber nicht mit neuen Rekorden im iPhone-Segment rechnen zu können.
