Das iOS 4.3.1 untethered Jailbreak Tool Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc10 steht zum Download bereit. Nach dem Release von Sn0wbreeze 2.5.1 beherrscht Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc10 jetzt auch Boot-Animationen des Boot-Logo via Animate. Weiterhin wurden einige kleinere Fehler in den Settings behoben. Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc10 kann über einen existierenden iOS 4.3.1 untethered Jailbreak installiert werden!
Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc10 kann über einen bestehenden iOS 4.3.1 untethered Jailbreak ausgeführt werden um die Boot-Animationen in iOS 4.3.1 zu aktivieren bzw. um kleinere Fehler (zu viele Einstellungsoptionen freigeschaltet) auszumerzen. Im iPhone Dev-Team Blog liest sich das Update 1 zu redsn0w 0.9.6 rc10 wie folgt:
Those running redsn0w may have noticed we enabled too many Settings options in some versions of the jailbreak (for instance, what you want your side switch to do, even if you have no side switch because you’re not using an iPad). Release rc10 of redsn0w corrects that (you can just run it over your existing jailbreak…be sure to de-select Cydia to avoid package conflicts).
Along the way, we’ve also added the option to enable boot animations…these animations can be installed via Cydia, but be sure to select which animation to use via the Settings->Bootlogo setting after you’ve downloaded an animation (and again, you can just run rc10 over your existing jailbreak…be sure to de-select Cydia to avoid package conflicts).
Wer also bei einem bereits bestehenden untethered Jailbreak Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc10 drüberbügeln möchte, MUSS Cydia in Redsn0w abwählen!
Für eigene Boot-Logos muss in redsn0w die „Allow Boot-Animation“ Option anwählen, gegen das iDevice laufen lassen und nach Neustart einfach nachträglich in Cydia ein Bootlogo auswählen und installieren – der Animate Tweak wird mitinstalliert.
