OS X 10.9.2: SSL-Fix, Facetime Audio für Mac

Apple veröffentlicht Mac OS X 10.9.2 und behebt damit die schwere SSL Sicherheitslücke in OS X. Doch das Update bzw. der Download von OS X 10.9.2 offenbart weitere neue Features: Facetime Audio kommt auf den Mac. Außer dem Annehmen und Ablehnen von kostenlosen Facetime Audio Telefonanrufen am Mac wird nun auch eine Anklopffunktion für Facetime sowohl für eingehende Audio als auch Video Gespräche freigeschaltet. Aber auch eingehende iMessage Nachrichten können nun blockiert werden.

Neben Facetime Audio und dem SSL Fix für Macbook, iMac & Co. mit OS X Mavericks schraubt Apple weiterhin am OS X Email Client (Anzahl ungelesener Nachrichten, Stabilität und Kompatibilität der OS X Mail App) sowie SMB2 und VPN Verbindungen.

Wie bereits eingehend erwähnt – die SSL Schwachstelle macht dieses Update zur Pflicht! Wir empfehlen Euch schnellstmöglich das Update nachzuholen. Nach der Installation ist ein Neustart notwendig.
