Kein iPad 2 Jailbreak von @comex ?

Nachdem Stefan Esser aka @i0n1c gerade seinen untethered Jailbreak für iOS 4.3.1 als Video auf einem iPod touch demonstriert hat, muss sich @comex aktuell mit seinem iPad 2 Exploit geschlagen geben! Apple hat den Exploit in iOS 4.3.1 geschlossen, den @comex zum iPad 2 Jailbreak nutzen wollte.

Damit liegt nun alle Hoffnung auf @i0n1c und @musclenerd – allerdings kann der untethered Jailbreak von i0n1c nicht auf das neue iPad 2 übertragen werden.

Schlechte Nachrichten also für die iPad 2 Jailbreak Fraktion. Ob hier aber wirklich ein Verräter den Exploit an Apple weitergegeben hat darf bezweifelt werden. Der iPad 2 Exploit von @comex war eine schlecht gefixte Lücke, auf die Apple aller Vorausicht nach selbst gestolpert ist.
