Vor kurzem haben Apple und Amazon eine neue Kooperation bestätigt, die sich darauf bezieht, dass Amazon Apple-Produkte in Zukunft nur noch von Apple und zertifizierten Dritthändler anbietet. Nun gibt es weitere Informationen über eine Zusammenarbeit in Bezug auf Apple Music.
Apple Music: Support für Amazon Echo kommt
Und zwar haben die beiden Unternehmen angekündigt, dass Apples Musik-Streaming-Dienst noch im Dezember 2018 für Amazon Echo verfügbar sein wird. Genauer gesagt wird es in der Woche der Fall sein, die mit dem 17. Dezember 2018 beginnt. In den Worten von Amazon klingt das Ganze so (via Amazon):
“Music is one of the most popular features on Alexa—since we launched Alexa four years ago, customers are listening to more music in their homes than ever before,” said Dave Limp, senior vice president, Amazon Devices.
“We are committed to offering great music providers to our customers and since launching the Music Skill API to developers just last month, we’ve expanded the music selection on Alexa to include even more top tier services. We’re thrilled to bring Apple Music – one of the most popular music services in the US – to Echo customers this holiday.”
Ständiger Kampf mit Spotify Music um Platz 1
Damit kann Apple einen guten Schachzug verbuchen, der im Kampf mit Spotify Music wichtig sein könnte, denn Spotify steht schon seit geraumer Zeit bei Amazon Echo zur Verfügung. Um Spotify aber als Nummer 1 weltweit ablösen zu können, wird Apple wohl noch mehr brauchen.
