Der thermonukleare Krieg zwischen Apple und Android in Verkörperung von Samsung geht in die nächste Runde. Wie Florian Müller von FOSS Patents hier aufführt will Apple ein Produkt von der „Killer-Liste“ streichen um das Samsung Galaxy S4 aufzunehmen. Somit würden dann sowohl Apple als auch Samsung jeweils 22 Geräte des Kontrahenten beschuldigen eigene Patente und Ansprüche zu verletzen.
Apple has analyzed the Galaxy S4, Samsung’s new top-selling product, and „has concluded that it is an infringing device and accordingly intends to move for leave to add the Galaxy S4 as an infringing product“
Auf alle Fälle sei für Apple klar, dass das Galaxy S4 ebenfalls gegen Schutzrechte von Apple verstößt. Welches Samsung-Gerät Apple von der Liste streichen wird ist noch offen. Ebenso offen bleibt, ob die Aufnahme des Samsung Galaxy S4 auf die Killerliste seitens Apple funktioniert.
Ein weiterer Streitpunkt der Kandidaten wegen der Listen bleibt die (allgemeine) Benennung von Apple Produkten wie z.B. dem Apple „Macbook Pro“ ohne Herstellungsjahr sowie der „iPhones“ ohne Carrier bzw. Modell (CDMA, GSM,…)
Wir dürfen gespannt sein, wie sich der thermonukleare Krieg der Giganten weiterentwickelt.
