Hierzulande ist nicht einmal Apple Pay verfügbar, auch wenn es bereits im Herbst 2017 so weit sein soll. Womöglich in Verbindung mit einem Update für Apple Pay Cash. Denn zu diesem hat Apple nun interessante Neuigkeiten veröffentlicht.
Apple Pay Cash per Update in iOS 11 und watchOS 4
Per Pressemitteilung hat Apple verlauten lassen, dass Pay Cash als künftiges Update für Apple iOS 11 und watch OS 4 eingeplant ist. Genauer gesagt soll das Update für die beiden Betriebssysteme im Herbst dieses Jahres erfolgen (via Apple PR):
Coming this fall with an update to iOS 11 and watchOS 4, Apple Pay users will be able to send and receive money from friends and family quickly, easily and securely. Pay and get paid right in Messages, or tell Siri to pay someone, using the credit and debit cards they have in Wallet. When users get paid, they receive the money in their new Apple Pay Cash card in Apple Wallet and can use the money instantly.
Release im Laufe des Herbstes
Aus der Pressemitteilung lässt sich auch entnehmen, dass die ersten Versionen von iOS 11 und watchOS 4 nicht mit Pay-Cash-Support aufwarten wird. Bei Pay Cash handelt es sich um Apples Peer-to-Peer-Methode, um Geld via Apple iMessage zu senden.
