Das Chronic Dev-Team hat ein kleines Update zur aktuellen Lage mit Greenpois0n und dem iPad 2 Jailbreak von P0sixninja veröffentlicht.
Obwohl das Chronic Dev-Team die Arbeit weiterhin auf den iPad 2 Jailbreak fokussiert, wird in Kürze ein Greenpois0n Update auf Greenpois0n RC 6.2 folgen, mit dem der untethered iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak möglich sein soll.
Im Chronic Dev-Team Blog könnt ihr hier die aktuelle Lage zu Greenpois0n, dem gerade angelaufenen Greenpois0n Merchandising und natürlich (oder vor allem) etwas zum iPad 2 Jailbreak lesen.
As I’m sure many people have heard, Josh (posixninja) has recently been quoted saying the iPad 2 jailbreak is coming in “weeks”, I know I have been very publicly abrasive and non-commital on giving any kind of timeframe or comment on this matter, but at the behest of Josh (in conjunction with his need for a swift kick to the ass for motivation) we’re ALL going to hold him to that!!! I’m not going to get into extensive detail about this, but what I will say one of the missing puzzle pieces may have reared its head and cast a glance in our direction… take from that what you will.
NOTE: WE will hold him to that, please do NOT badger him with “is it done yet, when will it be ready?!?!, does it wear a slipcover from an elevator sandwich?”
Zu Greenpois0n selbst jedoch „nur“ die Ankündigung, dass Greenpois0n RC 6.2 in Kürze zum Download verfügbar sein wird und – ähnlich Redsn0w – einen untethered Jailbreak von iOS 4.3.3 ermöglicht. Einen genauen Releasetermin nennen die Jungs jedoch nicht.
Am iPad 2 Jailbreak wird wohl immer noch fleißig gearbeitet – vor allem @p0sixninja ist hier vorne mit dabei. Ob der Zeitplan mit „iPad 2 Jailbreak in ein paar Wochen“ gehalten werden kann ist unklar – allerdings braucht p0sixninja wohl etwas Motivation und das sollte dem Chronic Dev-Team doch mit dem eigenen Blogpost jetzt gelungen sein.
