iOS 4.3 Unlock: Ultrasn0w Update für iPhone 3GS mit iPad BB in Arbeit!

In Kürze könnte ein Update von Ultrasn0w die Verwendung des iPad Baseband 6.15.00 auf dem iPhone 3GS auch unter iOS 4.3 wieder ermöglichen. Zumindest wenn man dem Sn0wbreeze Developer @iH8Sn0w glauben darf (und das darf man für gewöhnlich).

@iH8sn0w scheint es gelungen zu sein, Ultrasn0w für bereits Unlocked Basebands unter iOS 4.3 zum Laufen zu bringen. Ein Video auf Youtube zeigt die Nutzung des (uralten) iPhone Basebands 4.26.08 unter iOS 4.3!

Auf die Frage, wie sich diese „Portierung“ auf iOS 4.3 für Nutzer und Unlocker mit einem iPhone 3GS mit iPad Baseband auswirkt… ach, lest selbst:

Gute Nachrichten also für die iPhone Unlock Crew, die immer noch mit dem iPad Baseband auf dem iPhone 3GS zu kämpfen hat. Allerdings ist dies immer noch kein Downgrade oder eine Lösung für das GPS Problem mit dem iPad BB.

Achja: Mit diesem Ultrasnow Release kommt KEIN UNLOCK für die iPhone 4 Basebands 2.10., 3.10 oder 4.10 bzw. für iPhone 3GS Basebands 5.14. und darüber.

Das Ultrasn0w Update richtet sich an diejenigen, die noch immer ein unlocked Baseband auf dem iPhone haben und mit Baseband Protection auf iOS 4.3 updaten oder geupdatet haben. Weiterhin funktioniert das „neue“ Ultrasn0w NOCH NICHT MIT DEM IPHONE 4!
