Die ersten Tests und Reviews zum iPhone 6 und iPhone 6 Plus der Presse zeigten bereits, dass die beiden neuen Apple Smartphones das Zeug zum „besten Smartphone 2014“ haben. Die ersten iPhone 6 (Plus) Benchmark Tests lassen ähnliches vermuten. Jetzt bestätigt auch DisplayMate dem neuen iPhone 6 Plus Bestnoten für das Display: das beste LCD Display, dass jemals bei DisplayMate getestet wurde.
Während das iPhone 6 Plus dank Full HD und hoher Pixeldichte in den besten Tönen gelobt wird, steht auch beim iPhone 6 Display im Endergebnis „sehr gutes Display“ sowie dass „die meisten Käufer werden damit sehr zufrieden sein“. Allerdings habe Apple die Chance verspielt, auch dem kleineren iPhone 6 ein Full HD Display mit 1920 x 1080 Pixel zu spendieren. Sonst hätte zweifelsfrei das iPhone 6 den ersten Platz eingenommen.

Übrigens: obwohl beide neuen Apple iPhone 6 den Titel „bestes LCD Smartphone Display“ erhalten haben, im Bereich OLED Display nimmt Samsung mit dem Galaxy Note 4 und Samsung Galaxy S5 die ersten beiden Plätze ein. Und auch der Titel „bestes Smartphone Display“, bei dem OLED und LCD Screens im Wettkampf stehen geht laut Aussage von Display Mate an den Erzrivalen Samsung mit dem Note 4. Dennoch, das iPhone 6 Plus ist und bleibt vorerst das weltweit beste LCD Display, das man günstig mit Vertrag oder ohne Vertrag kaufen kann.
